in 666 words - SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

What is In 666 Words?
In 666 Words is a collection of stories under the LATE NIGHT HORRORS series where each tale of terror fits exactly into a 666-word structure.  Author-creator Michael Grant started this website to allow fans and other writers to contribute their horror stories to this flash fiction genre.

What are the guidelines for submitting stories?
Stories considered for submission must fit the following criteria:
1) All stories need to be in the horror genre
2) All stories must be precisely 666 words
3) All stories need to be original works and submitted by the author


How can I submit a story to In 666 Words?
Just e-mail the author at  mgrant@latenighthorrors.com.

Please make sure you include the following with your submission:
- The title and text of your 666-word story, either in the body of the e-mail or as an attachment
- Your full name (or name you want attached to the tale)

- The copyright year of the story
- This is optional, but any additional information about the author (if you have a book, ebook, or website…plug away and it will be attached along with your story)


Who holds the copyright to the stories submitted on In 666 Words?
All copyrights remain with their authors.  Late Night Horrors (and In 666 Words) assumes only the limited right to publish submitted stories on this website.
In legalize:  Through the act of submitting a story to in666words.com, the author agrees to grant the website the nonexclusive right to publish your work on www.in666words.com only. All other rights to the work remain with the contributing author. You guarantee that this work is your own and that you have the allowed permission for the website to use it.  A copyright notice will be printed in your name. It is the contributing author’s responsibility to register the work with the U.S. Copyright Office or other relevant government body.  Minor alterations to the text and/or title may be made to correct spelling, grammar and/or punctuation. Contributing authors may withdraw permission to publish at any time by sending written notice to Mike@latenighthorrors.com, and the requested work will be removed from this website within receipt of such notice. All submission policies are subject to change and will be updated via this site.
